on view now at portfolio gallery


here's one of my most recent works on exhibition right now at portfolio gallery. i have another piece that you will have to see when you get there=) enjoy=) feedback greatly appreciated too. id love to hear what others have to say about what they see, how its displayed, concept... any and everything is open for conversation.

Have you ever been to a pow wow. This piece is set up like the animal pelt dealers at those types of events. It looks better this way...

i havent been to an actual pow wow, but i am familiar with American rugs, which I think my works can resemble at times... so i took your statement and googled it for images...= nothing. but i think i can see where you are going with that one. recently in an interview the moderator referred to my work as "primal" and although i disagree with the word usage and its social connotation, i think it is that feeling/statement that associates things like that in the works I make. ill look into it. yet, i hope the clay doesnt look too much like tortured animals or no one will ever buy it. just kidding. thank you for your feedback billy.
