Long River Poetry Collective

I am excited about this upcoming traveling poetry reading and art exhibition. As you all know, this will be my second time going to New Orleans on this mission (see "rerooted" blog post)... I cant wait! Long River poetry collective is made up of artists and poets from the Mississippi River banks. I will showing art as usual, and listening to some expressive progressives. If you are in the area, please save the date- we will be at the Gris Gris Lab April 2nd!

Lots of Stuff is going on.

Lights Along Cherokee is coming up on March 19th. Bob has been great working with my nuts schedule, as well as doing two studio visits to assist in me getting this thing standing.
For more info on the project just go to the Facebook page for it!

Artfully Green {Houses}

Right now I am really excited about a project I am working on with a couple of other cool folks. Simiya, William P. and I are planning to build some greenhouses around town. Yay. We are in the beginning stage, and would like to expand throughout the community. As many people know, I have a special interest in the Northside.
We are getting a great deal of our supplies from ReStore, as the staff there have been awesome and knowledgeable (especially Andy and Eric.)
If you have an interest in helping us, know how to build cold frames or would like to donate some supplies please email me at dailchambers@gmail.com.

Can't Wait!
